Reading Time is a great website containing children's book news and reviews from the Children's Book Council of Australia. Book reviews are divided under the headings: Early Childhood Books, Younger Readers, Older Readers, Anzac Series, Information Books, Professional Development and Picture Books. Some of the books which have been shortlisted are reviewed here. The website also has a page for interviews with authors, illustrators, publishers, booksellers and other children's literature professionals. You can also meet the judges for 2014. For people working in children's libraries, this website is worth a look!
Thankyou for the Reading time website, I have ordered all the shortlisted books for my school library and this will be of help to me. I usually go to the judges talk when it comes to Geelong, but this time I was away and couldn't attend. They are really informative.
